Rosa 'Ausgrab' - The Alnwick® Rose
The Alnwick Rose is a compact deciduous shrub with an upright mounded habit and glossy dark green foliage. The old rose with raspberry scented double flowers are a rich pink that lightens with age, and bloom in flushes from late spring until frost. Best grown with full sun in rich and moist well-drained, lightly acidic soils. The Alnwick has good disease resistance.
May also be sold as 'Alnwick Castle'.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Roses are susceptible to powdery mildew, black spot, rust, and rose rosette and require regular fungicide in humid areas that experience a lot of rainfall. Pest issues include aphids, borers, scale, mites thrips, midges, and leafhoppers.
