Iris germanica 'Discovered Treasure' - Discovered Treasure Bearded Iris
Discovered Treasure has won the Honorable Mention Award in 2008 from the American Iris Society for its profuse bloom of pink and orchid-violet and tangerine beards. Enjoy this bicolor iris in sunny gardens, in beds, and along borders where its sweetly fragrance can be appreciated. Use as a cutting flower to spruce up insides. Prefers partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Water regularly, then occasionally once established. Can cut back any dying foliage after flowering. Some major issues can be soft root, crown rot, and leaf spot. Watch for molting and remove any affected leaves. Avoid overcrowding and too much shade to lessen the chance of these issues.
