Gaultheria procumbens 'Hokutotakaji-001' - Winter Fiesta™ Wintergreens
Winter Fiesta Wintergreens is a native woody evergreen groundcover with a dense low-spreading habit and glossy dark green leaves. Nodding bell-like white flowers bloom in early summer and give way to huge white edible berries that turn cotton candy pink as they ripen in fall. The berries can persist through winter. Both the leaves and berries have an aroma and taste like wintergreen. Prefers part sun and moist, well-drained acidic soils. Drought tolerant once established.
