Spine Tingler Barrenwort is a low shade loving perennial with spined leathery green foliage. Wiry stems sporting airy clusters of spurred soft yellow flowers bloom in mid spring to late spring. Thrives in shade and dry to medium, well-drained acidic soils. Deer and drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Mosaic virus the main disease, but otherwise little problems. Cut back any surviving winter foliage in late winter before new growth emerges.
