Frankly Scarlet Echinacea is a well-branching native perennial with strong upright stems and deep green foliage. The large bright scarlet flowers with dark cones lighten to coral orange with age, and bloom from mid summer into fall. If deadheaded, the bloom can be extended to frost. Thrives in full sun and well-drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
