Clematis 'Lindsay' - Lindsay Clematis
The large star-shaped flowers, some 5-6in across, are deep purple/blue in color and have complimentary red anthers. The flowers clothe the plant from base to tip during May, June and July with a repeat flowering in September. Height is 90-120cm and pruning could not be any easier, simply reduce all stems down to 15cm of soil level in late winter/early spring. Clematis Lindsay will make the perfect plant for a container, or growing in a border amongst other plants.
Note that this selection's 8" is a young vine and must be sleeved.
