Capsicum annuum 'Red Delicious' - Red Delicious Pepper
Red Delicious Pepper is a compact fast growing annual that heavily produces petite 3" sweet peppers that are ready to harvest green in 60 days, or in 80 days for full maturity. Letting the fruit ripen is well worth the wait, as while the pleasant mild and sweet taste when green is very good, the flavor once red is a unique sweetness similar to a fresh crisp apple. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well-drained soils.
