Alocasia 'Portordora' - Portodora Upright Elephant Ear
Portodora Upright Elephant Ear is a large bulb perennial with massive textured foliage on thick stems. These ripple-edged rich green leaves with prominent veining can reach as long as 4-5ft. The greenish-white spathe and spadix bloom intermittently throughout the year. Grows best in part sun with rich, moist to wet well-drained acidic soils. Treat as an annual when grown outside of its zones.
Portodora is the same as the 'Portora' hybrid, which can have dark or green stems, but is specifically the green stem strain.
