Childhood Sweetheart Lenten Rose is a winter-blooming evergreen perennial with leathery rich green basal foliage. Clusters of large outward facing pale yellow double flowers with deep red backs and intense veining bloom from late winter into spring. Best bloom in dappled sun and moist well-drained soils. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
